A Meissen figure of a ballad singer from the Saxon Court, wearing a pink coat over a gilt-edged yellow waistcoat embellished with flowers and lilac breeches, a black tricorn hat under his arm, holding a sheet of music in his left hand, on a gilt-edged scroll work base with applied leaves and flowers. Blue crossed swords to an unglazed base, circa 1755.
