A Sèvres hard paste pot à crème 'Etrusque à Bourrelet’, decorated with a throw back to a 1760s pattern of floral bouquets and sprigs and heightened with blue line borders and gilt rims. Incised date marks to underside for November 1829.

The model for this cream jug is securely dated to 1807 by the working drawing, but the earliest surviving valuation for a blank example is from August 6, 1829.
